I am originally from Mukilteo, Washington, and graduated from Washington State University in 2021. After graduation, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona for 3 years, where I worked as an Investment Operations Analyst at the Arizona Community Foundation, managing the day-to-day responsibilities of investment portfolios. Currently, I work in impact investing as an Investment Operations Associate at Impact Assets. I am passionate about volunteering because Snohomish County is a beautiful and diverse community with tremendous opportunities for growth. In my free time, I enjoy cycling around Lake Washington and exploring the many bike paths in Seattle, where I currently call home.

I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and have lived in Stanwood, Washington for the past decade after spending 15 years working in digital advertising in New York City. I specialize in motion graphics and previously worked for digital agencies as well as Microsoft as part of a design team in Redmond. I currently serve as President and Chairman of the Board of The Olson Foundation, our family charitable foundation. Through the foundation, I support community initiatives in both Omaha and the Stanwood area, with a focus on projects that create meaningful local impact. Learning about the evolving needs of the communities we serve is an ongoing and important part of that work.

Outside of work and philanthropy, I enjoy spending time outdoors in Western Washington and traveling with my family to experience different cultures and explore new destinations.

Dr. Janice Greene is an Everett native, accomplished business leader, strategist, and longtime advocate for equity, opportunity, and strong communities. She spent 39 years with The Boeing Company, advancing into leadership roles in strategy, supplier diversity, and economic development before retiring in 2017.

Dr. Greene has dedicated much of her career to strengthening communities and expanding opportunity. She currently serves as Chair of the Snohomish County Future Workforce Alliance and has held numerous civic leadership roles, including President of the Snohomish County NAACP, a board member of the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, and commissioner for the Everett Public Facilities District and Everett Civil Service Commission. She also previously served as President and CEO of Women’s Business Enterprise Council Pacific, where she championed opportunities for women-owned businesses and regional economic development.

Known for her thoughtful listening, collaborative approach, and ability to see the big picture, Dr. Greene brings decades of leadership experience and a deep commitment to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to contribute, thrive, and succeed in Snohomish County.

Though born in Seattle, Washington, I grew up a military baby and had the opportunity to travel at a young age and live abroad. As a result, I experienced many cultures and people from different places and walks of life. This gave me a love for humanity, community, and service. In 2003, I became an ordained minister and in 2022, I earned a Doctorate in Divinity. In 2003, I was given the assignment to lead Millennia Ministries Enterprise, a 501c3 non-profit and for the last 22 years, our mission has been to meet needs and transform lives. Offering housing, food, budgeting classes, employment training, resources and plethora of other services, our goal continues to be to empower others so they can live victoriously and thrive, not just survive.

I am blessed to share this wonderful journey called life with my husband, business partner, friend, of 22 years, Dave. I am the proud mother of 4 beautiful children and 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. I love to travel, all over the world in my spare time. My family moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2007, and I started my career as a credit/underwriting professional. I learned of the CFSC through volunteering with the Red-Tailed Hawks Flying Club. Earning my MBA from WWU motivated me to seek opportunities to give back to a community and practice the skills I learned, so when CFSC sought my help, I could not say no. This committee’s work improves our community, and we learn so much from each other.

Tina, Deputy Director of LISC Puget Sound, has spent 20+ years working in community and economic development, working both for community-based organizations and local government. Her experience includes small business and affordable housing finance, workforce development, program and policy development, and community engagement. Tina has also worked in the health arena, with Washington’s global health community and health equity impact investing. Tina leads LISC’s economic development work in Everett and Snohomish County. She regularly spends time at the Village on Casino Road, Kindred Kitchen and at Everett’s City Hall. In her off hours, you can find Tina hiking trails in the Cascades.

Zu brings over thirty years of experience in the investment management industry, having served as a Portfolio Manager for several leading asset management firms in the U.S. She is currently a Senior Managing Director for a multi-asset family trust, where she is responsible for establishing investment strategies, including asset allocation, investment selection, and risk management. Passionate about impact investing, Sue dedicates her time and expertise to helping nonprofit organizations achieve their financial goals and advance their charitable missions.

With family ties to the Pacific Northwest, Zu is inspired by CFSC’s mission to build a strong, diverse community and drive positive change through economic growth. Her perspective on the role of impact investment in governance, poverty alleviation, and promoting racial diversity is shaped by her upbringing in China and her experience investing in emerging markets.

In her free time, Zu enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and attending theater performances.

I grew up in Lake Stevens and have spent most of my life in Snohomish County. I’m a CPA, investment advisor, and partner at Madrona Financial Services/Bauer Evans in Everett, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Mountain Pacific Bank. I joined the Community Foundation as a Board Member in 2017, motivated by a desire to give back to the community that has given me so much. I served as Treasurer until 2022, and my current involvement is focused on the finance committee.

In the little free time I have, I’m often on the go, keeping up with my two kids’ busy schedules of sporting events.

Leonard Jackson brings strong financial leadership, thoughtful stewardship, and a deep commitment to community service to his role on the Finance Committee of the Community Foundation of Snohomish County. As Chief Financial Officer of Millennia Ministries in Everett, Washington, Leonard oversees financial strategy, budgeting, and stewardship, ensuring resources are managed with integrity, accountability, and purpose.

With a strong focus on fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability, Leonard is committed to supporting organizations and initiatives that strengthen communities and create lasting impact. His professional experience is grounded in sound financial decision-making and a collaborative approach, making him a valuable contributor to the Foundation’s work of connecting resources with opportunities that benefit the people and communities of Snohomish County.

Leonard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a degree in Business Accounting from Griffin Business College. His combination of financial expertise, strategic perspective, and commitment to service brings a well-rounded approach to his work with the Foundation.

Rose brings thoughtful expertise, civic leadership, and a deep commitment to community to her work on the Finance Committee. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Puget Sound and a Master’s degree in Whole Systems Design from Antioch University, blending analytical rigor with a holistic approach to problem-solving.

A dedicated civic leader, Rose has served on the boards of several local organizations, including The Camano Center, the Stanwood-Camano YMCA, the Community Resource Center of Stanwood-Camano, the Stanwood-Camano Art Advocacy Commission, and the Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees. Through these roles, she has contributed to capital fundraising efforts that have helped create vibrant, lasting community spaces and resources across the region.

I’m from Eastern Washington and happy to call Everett home now. I’ve worked a wide array of jobs, from teaching English as a Second Language in France, to being an administrative assistant, to being our Director of Human Resources. 

I’m the go-to-person for HR needs, which is actually similar to the support I provide our local non-profits! I’m here for HR questions, such as employee benefits, policies, and so much more. I can talk about employee benefits and employee handbooks all day, every day. 

When I’m not working, you may catch me traveling or birding.

After realizing that Wall Street wasn’t the vibe I wanted more than 3 ½ decades ago, I transitioned to nonprofit work and haven’t regretted it for one day. I’ve been in the marketing, fundraising and CEO positions in arts, human services, health, education and library nonprofits.  

I am a philanthropic advisor to our current and potential fund holders, instilling joy in philanthropy for the donor while honoring the work of our community organizations. I also like to say I am the Google of nonprofit administration – meaning organizations can contact me for personalized responses to their questions and designated support to build their capacity.  

When I am not helping donors find their dream organization or nonprofits find the best way to solve a problem, I can be found in the kitchen cooking, on the trails hiking or in the bookstore browsing.

In simple words, my role at CFSC is to find missing pennies and put everything in a spreadsheet—because let’s be honest, everything looks good in a spreadsheet. Kidding aside, I started my career in public accounting, dabbled in corporate/consulting, and eventually found my passion working in the nonprofit sector. I believe that finance can be a powerful tool for creating positive change, and I love being part of advancing impact investing. 

I’m proud to have graduated from the oldest existing university in Asia, University of Santo Tomas (go USTe!) and I currently serve on the board of the Filipino-American Association of CPAs in Seattle. 

I’ve embraced the PNW by enjoying the outdoors and exploring the islands. I’m also a big fan of our wines and believe that we have some of the best wines in the world, especially Cabernet Sauvignon.  Outside of work, you’ll find me playing volleyball, travelling, or being silly with my two fur buddies—Blue (Frenchie) and Oliver (Labrador Retriever).

I have worked in the nonprofit and public sector for more than 30 years. While I grew up in Grays Harbor most of my career has been in Snohomish County. In addition to nonprofits, I’ve worked in K-12 education systems and public libraries. 

I joined the Community Foundation in 2000 to lead the Wiggums Park Renewal Project in north Everett. It was a career highlight and helped me see the power of community in decision making. While I never intended to stay so long, but I was named CEO in 2019. Our board and staff focus on transforming and disrupting systems. Our commitment to community drives our daily work. 

I have a degree in public relations. I live in Lake Stevens with my husband, sons and dogs. I like to read, hike, boat, kayak, and cook.

I am originally from The Gambia, where I have spent over 18 years advocating for women and children’s rights. With a background in human rights law and international peace studies, I have worked across Africa and beyond to uplift marginalized communities, focusing on gender justice and policy change.

At CFSC, I lead our fundraising and grants efforts, supporting our mission to create lasting social change. I am passionate about connecting resources to initiatives that uplift the communities we work with.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. Their unwavering support has been a constant source of strength and inspiration throughout my journey.

I joined the Community Foundation of Snohomish County to combine my passion for empowering communities of color with my extensive experience in nonprofit capacity building. As the Director of Community Coalition, I work to strengthen local organizations by fostering partnerships, providing resources, and advocating for equitable opportunities in Snohomish County. I am also the founder of Project Girl Mentoring Program, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has empowered hundreds of young women of color through life skills training, mentorship, and culturally responsive programming since 2012. The program focuses on building confidence and equipping young women of color with the tools to succeed in every area of life.

In my spare time, I love biking through scenic trails and tending to my impressive collection of over 100 indoor plants. The best advice I’ve ever received? “Listen more than you speak—the key to understanding and connection.”
