Human Services Fund (Opens in 2025)
The Human Services Endowment Fund in Honor of Bob Drewel was established in 2003 to acknowledge Bob’s legacy of commitment to human service causes in our region. This fund is held by the Community Foundation of Snohomish County for the long-term benefit of human service agencies throughout Snohomish County.
Eligible organizations:
501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations, public agencies, school districts, libraries, parks with programs and/or services in Snohomish County. Organizations are limited to one application per organization.
Applications should fit one of the following criteria:
- Basic Needs: (food, clothing, shelter, safety).
- Target populations include:
- Families
- Children
- Seniors
- Individuals with disabilities/diversely-abled
- Target populations include:
- Human Services:
- Preference for small/medium sized agencies and community based programs with well-defined needs.
- Dental, wellness or mental health services.
- Prevention programs and services for pre-teens/teens.
- Programs that serve assist at-risk youth.
- Services for veterans.
- Preference for small/medium sized agencies and community based programs with well-defined needs.
- Human Service for disabled individuals:

- Recreation
- Enrichment programs
- Access to services or opportunities to participate in the community. This may include mental health.
