About

This two-part grant writing workshop helps you perfect your ability to craft proposals that effectively and successfully deliver your organization’s message to potential funders. Registration required.
Session  One takes an in-depth look at proposal development—how you find the information you need, how you package it—even the “bad” news, and how to interpret funder guidelines and limitations. You’ll have the opportunity to complete a short take-home assignment at the end of this session for which Jensen will provide individual critique and feedback.
Presented by Debra Jensen, a Seattle area nonprofit consultant and freelance grant writer, this hands-on workshop is designed for those newer to grant writing and those with some experience but offers tips and tricks of benefit to any grant writer. Benefiting from Jensen’s unique background as a longtime corporate grant maker, grant writer, and writer/editor, each session includes brief writing exercises.
